After a night of dreamless sleep, myself and Niki decided to go for an early morning swim! We shared the pool with a father who could not bear to avert his gaze from us for even a second, and his son who in his attempts to show off doing the front crawel wearing vision glasses and stopping for a rest evert 30 seconds, looked more like a drowning rat than anyone to whom Niki or I would have surcome to his efforts. Breakfast consisted of home made bread and scrambled egg - yum yum. Considering our experience at the pool, an alternative plan was needed and so we set off for the creek. The location of which will remain a secret only shared amongst those worthy of enjoying the water tredmill and the natural mud bath. Hours of fun were shared by all those present and although some of the tribal bikini pictures are not suitable for sharing online, we looked good:-)
A massive lunch and an afternoon of relaxation and a spot of Cluedo followed. Most importantly all around us was the sound of SILENCE; the horns and shouts of Dhaka left far behind us. A game of tennis occupied my late afternoon while others took to the bikes and set off in search of local life. 8pm brought with it dinner and what a dinner at that - roast potatoes, roast chicken and homemade bread, but of course the obligatory rice and Dhal were there.
The evening brought good conversation, a few drinks and a very exciting phone call from Oslo. Although we couldn't all hear all you said HC, it was great to say hello.
The 'girls' bungalow emptied and attempts by Sarah to keep the party spirit alive lasted but 30 minutes, but they were minutes of dancing (some new Srimingol moves were invented).
The first photo is of ladies picking tea on our way to the Creek.
The second photo is us enjoying the cool water of the creek.
The third is of the children high above us who enjoyed the entertainment we provided them.
The fourth is of Linda, Amy and Sarah doing jazz hands Srimingol style.
